Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 October 2013
Be inspired to make your home more comfortable, cheaper to heat and kinder to the environment.
The Energy-Smart Homes Trail was an open weekend for 13 homes and one community building in the Thornbury and Alveston area. Each has had improvements made to save energy and save money.
When?
The open days were on the weekend of Saturday 19th October and Sunday 20th October. The general opening times were between 12 noon and 6pm, but some homes were not open all the time both days. Generally, the last tour was before 6pm so that the householder can close at the closing time.
Where is it?
The event was in Thornbury and Alveston in South Gloucestershire, north of Bristol, UK. Have a look at the map for the location of each property and the event hub.
Who are we?
This trail was organised by Sustainable Thornbury in partnership with South Gloucestershire Council. It was generously funded by the Energy Savings Trust.
